Ahmetcan Gökçeer is a composer, sound artist and performer based in Cologne, Germany.
His works are performed and shown in international concerts and exhibitions, such has Festival di Musica Elettroacustica e Contemporanea, ZKM Next Generation, Limina Festival and Istanbul Biennial to name a few. Gökçeer took part in residencies such as Labor der Künste Montepulciano and contemPLAY Vilnius as composer and performer/improviser.
He collaborates on interdisciplinary projects, such as dance and visual arts pieces. His sound works focus on site-specific performances, video and acoustic research.
Gökçeer currently performs solo electronics under the moniker wipeç. He runs the Ableton User Group Istanbul, teaches and organises workshops regularly.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Istanbul Bilgi University Music Department and a Master of Music from Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln.
